Jadhav's role in the side has grown over the years since he made his debut in the format for India in 2014. Then a pure batsman, Jadhav has transformed himself into a more than handy bowler who can chip in with important wickets. Some of his scalps include the likes of Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, David Warner, Babar Azam, Martin Guptill, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Shai Hope, Hashim Amla and JP Duminy.
केदार जाधव की जब उनकी पत्नी स्नेहल से शादी हुई थी, तो उनके खराब प्रदर्शन की वजह से महाराष्ट्र क्रिकेट टीम से बाहर कर दिया गया था. जब इस खिलाड़ी को इस बारे में खबर मिली तब वो हनीमून पर थे. केदार जाधव इससे बेहद आहत हुए और उन्होंने क्रिकेट छोड़ने का फैसला कर लिया.लेकिन उस समय केदार की पत्नी स्नेहल ने उन्हें ऐसा करने से रोक दिया. साथ ही ये भी धमकी दी कि अगर केदार क्रिकेट छोड़ेंगे तो पत्नी स्नेहल उन्हें तलाक दे देगी. अगर उनकी पत्नी ने ऐसा नहीं किया होता तो शायद केदार आज भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा नहीं होते।
